Bluebirds Birdhouse – Made by Coveside. Intended for use with Eastern Bluebird (sialia sialis). This horizontal box is designed to be a safer nesting place for Eastern Bluebirds. It simulates a hollow tree branch. Most of the birds nest towards the back of the box, behind a vertical baffle, which keeps them out of the reach of predators. Range: Breeds east of the Rockies from southeastern Canada to Gulf of Mexico. The Eastern Bluebird winters in southern part of breeding range and Mexico. They prefer open woodlands and farmlands with scattered trees.
