These are the coolest things in the world. They have been inoculated with shiitake mushroom spore and will produce the best mushrooms in the world and best of all they are produced on waste wood. When developers move in they clear out all the trees. Well before all is lost we come in a cut up all the waste wood into 12" to 48" logs. We then turn them into mushroom logs. They will last for two to five years depending on the size and type of wood used. We have logs that start at 19.95 and go up.
They make great gifts and even better conversation pieces. And best of all we are using waste wood to do it. The wood piles are burned or buried, we found a way to keep the trees productive until they are ready to for the compost pile. When the mushrooms are done with the log it will a pile of mush but you get tasty mushrooms for a few years.
