The Pure-Rest Octavia European Tufted Innerspring Mattress are hand-tufted and are made with strong 14 gauge coils for durability.  Under the soft-to-the-touch cover is the perfect support.  Our US-made and tempered innersprings are covered with a paper free system of migration prevention:  an organic cotton fabric layer, then layers upon layers of fluffy organic cotton.  For the ultimate touch, we wrap it with our Pure Gro Wool and tuft it to a gentle, carressing European Pure-Rest organic cotton outer premium fabric.  We use no synthetic binding or air vents.  In addition, all of our mattress sides have two layers of organic cotton quilted to the wool for optimum breathability and moisture control. 

The foundation for this mattress is the Pure-Rest Box Spring, which is recommended to ensure that the mattress retains it's uniform sleeping surface, and is the only fire tested and approved foundation.  Our box springs also feature the breathable organic cotton/wool sides to match our mattresses.  To pair the Pegasus mattress with the Pacific Rim bed foundation, please see our Foundation section.

The Octavia mattress has a 35 ILD, which means it is a firm adult mattress by industry standards, and measures 8 thick and 38 x 75.  All Pure-Rest mattresses are naturally flame-retardant and chemical-free and are made in the USA.  20 year prorated warranty.
