A stimulating and creamy soap for normal to dull, lifeless skin.
Cinnamon is medicinal with its antiseptic, antidepressant and stimulating properties. Its astringent property is effective in "perking" up dull, ashy skin.
From the markets of the old spice trade, full lengths of cinnamon tree bark is ground to a fine powder. This pleasantly pungent spice is then mixed with coconut oil, heated slightly, then strained to create a smooth, non-abrasive oil. They add this rich, reddish brown oil to the soap mixture at the end of the process as a "superfatting" agent. In actuality, superfatting leaves some of the oils un-SOAP-afied resulting in a creamy moisturizing bar while still maintaining the amazing cleansing properties of a soap made with coconut oil. They also add Cinnamon Leaf & Himalayan Cedarwood essential oils to accentuate the warm, woody, spicy-sweet aroma of the ground cinnamon bark. Then as the frosting on the cake they add pure Clove Bud essential oil. Clove bud is very antiseptic and pain-relieving. The final product is delightfully-warming, spicy, stimulating and grounding.
